A lecturer in arts management at Shantou University, working on cultural policy in East Asia — and on what open data and AI can add to research in the humanities.

Marco Zhang is a lecturer at the Cheung Kong School of Art and Design, Shantou University, with a background in cultural sociology and art history. His research centres on cultural and creative industry policy in East Asia — in particular the interplay of the local and the global in cultural policy, the development of cultural districts, and urban cultural governance.

He is also interested in the integration of cultural policy across the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area: how cultural identity is interpreted in local and global contexts, and how new technologies are reshaping arts management. His current work extends into the digital humanities, using this site as a platform to explore what combining AI with humanities research can produce. He welcomes academic collaboration and consulting.

Open collection datasets (CC0), reproducible Python analysis, data visualisation, and interface design — increasingly, too, experiments in using AI as a research instrument. Everything here is built as a static site: owned, portable, and meant to outlast any one platform.

张泽迅（Marco Zhang）现任汕头大学长江艺术与设计学院讲师，拥有文化社会学与艺术史背景。 他的研究主要关注东亚文化创意产业政策，尤其聚焦文化政策中地方性与全球化的互动、 文化街区的发展，以及城市文化治理。

他也关注粤港澳大湾区文化政策的融合，考察文化认同在地方与全球语境中的阐释， 以及新技术对艺术管理的影响。他目前正将研究拓展至数字人文领域，并以本网站作为 展示「人工智能 + 人文研究」结合的主要平台。他欢迎学术合作与咨询。
